Majestiq Industries (stylized as Majesti9, with the 9 often drawn to look like the letter q as a pun of the Japanese onyomi for the number: kyu) which is also called Majesty 9 in some circles, is a multinational industrial conglomerate formed after World War 2 as the Ishiwatari Group consisting of nine founding members, rebranding themselves into Majestiq Industries during the 1960s. Choosing a foreign name that would be easily recognizable to the international market, Majestiq's goal is to become one of the world's leaders in technology and propel Japan's status as a technological giant. Majestiq has many subsidiary brands under it's name, and is involved with almost every aspect of life. Majestiq is most known for how they started in the trading business before moving to shipbuilding and diversifying from there.
